The Omotesenke Domonkai Southern California Region is pleased to present a Tea Ceremony Workshop and Demonstration at Nova Vita Festival 2026.
This special event offers an opportunity to experience the spirit of Wa, Kei, Sei, Jaku (Harmony, Respect, Purity, and Tranquility), the fundamental principles of the Japanese tea ceremony.
Whether you are new to tea culture or have a longstanding interest in Japanese traditions, we warmly invite you to join us.

During each session, guests will have the opportunity to observe an Omotesenke tea demonstration and learn about the history, etiquette, and philosophy of the Japanese tea ceremony.
【Tea Experience】
$15 per person
Limited to 10 participants per session
Participants will enjoy a hands-on experience and learn the fundamentals of preparing and serving matcha in the Omotesenke tradition.
【Matcha & Japanese Sweets】
$10 per person
Limited to 20 participants per session
Enjoy a bowl of freshly prepared matcha accompanied by traditional Japanese sweets while experiencing the beauty and hospitality of Japanese tea culture.
A Japanese tea ceremony demonstration will be held in the afternoon.
Tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the event at the Omotesenke Domonkai Southern California Region booth.
Cash and major credit cards are accepted.
All seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
